PokerStars to Host Micro Knockout Series this Month

PokerStars India is launching a Micro Knockout series this month which will combine low and mid-stake buy-ins. The buy-ins are as low as INR 10, anšŸ¦©d the total guaranteed prize pool of the series is INR 1.3 Crore.

Knockout or K.O. Poker tournaments are sit-and-go tournaments in which the prize money is divided in two partsā€”the prize pool and the part distribšŸ¦¹uted among players who knockout other players. In a traditional Sit-and-go tournament, a player has to finish in money to earn a cash prize, while in K.O. tournaments thatā€™s not the case.

The first ever PokerStars Micro series will host 65 Knockout events from June 14 to 21, 2020. In the knockout format events in the series, each player will earn a bounty for each player they eliminate. Everytime a player knocks out a player or players, they get a notification about the number of players they eliminate and tšŸ½he amount of cash bounty they earn.

Before this Micro K.O series, PokerStars offered knockout tournamenāœ¤ts in Turbo, Hyper-Turbo and Regular formats.

The Main event of the Micro K.O. Series is on June 21 and has a guaranteed prize pool of INR 15 Lakh.ā• More information about the series can be obtained on PokerStarsź§‚ website .

Players can win free tickets to the Knockout serišŸ‘es by participating in PokerStarsā€™ Daily Freeroll Tournaments.
