PUBG to Return to India with a New Game, $100 Mn Investment

PUBG Corporation announ👍ced on Thursday that PUBG Mobile will return to India in a new Avatar.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or PUBG was banned in India this September, with 116 other apps, by the Information and Technology ministry in India. Access to the game was discontinued for the users in the country on October 30th, with an announcement made by the company on their Facebook page that said, “Tencent Games will terminate all service and access for users in India to PUBG MOBILE Nordic Map: Livik and PUBG MOBILE Lite (together, “PUBG Mobile”) on October 30, 2020. The rights to publish PU🙈BG MOBILE in India will be returned to the owner of the PUBG intellectual property.”

The South Korean gaming company has planned to🍸 reenter the Indian market with a new game, PUBG Mobile India. The new game has been designed especially for users in the Indian market, maximizing security for the players and adhe𝔍ring to regulations in the country. India was one of the largest consumers of PUBG Mobile before being banned. The company also plans ൲to 🤪open an office in the country and hire more than 100 employees.
